Inspiring Love, Faith, & Hope
Bible
The Bible contains Scriptures written by men divinely inspired by God and is God's revelation about Himself to humanity. All Scripture is inerrant in the original manuscripts and is the final authority for doctrines and practices of the Christian faith. The Bible is a true and trustworthy testimony to Christ, the focus of divine revelation.
— Exodus 24:4; Luke 24:27,44; John 5:39; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21
Triune God
God is the one true and living God: Creator, Redeemer, Sustainer, and Ruler of all things. He exists in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—each being a distinct person with a distinct function, but all of one essence and all possessing the same nature, perfection, and attributes.
— Leviticus 19:2; Deuteronomy 6:4-5; Psalm 103:19; 145:17; Isaiah 40:28, 44:24; Malachi 3:6; Matthew 28:19; John 1:1-3; Romans 1:20; Ephesians 4:6; Colossians 1:16-17; Hebrews 1:8, 13:8
Father: God, as Father, reigns over all His universe with providential care. He is all-powerful, all-loving, all-knowing, and all-wise.
— Genesis 1:1; 1 Chronicles 29:10; Jeremiah 10:10; Matthew 6:9; Acts 1:7; Romans 8:14-15; 1 Corinthians 8:6, 15:24; Ephesians 4:6
Son: The Lord Jesus Christ became man without ceasing to be God, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, in order that He might reveal God and redeem sinful man by volunteering Himself as a sinless, substitutionary sacrifice on the cross, thereby satisfying God’s righteous judgment against sin.
— Luke 1:34-35; John 1:1-18; Romans 3:24-26, 8:3
Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is the Divine Person who convicts the world of sin. He alone brings new life to those who are spiritually dead; He indwells believers permanently, seals them unto the day of final redemption, bestows spiritual gifts upon them, and fills those who are yielding to Him.
— John 3:3-8, 14:16-17, 16:7-11; 1 Corinthians 12:7-11, 13; Ephesians 4:30; 5:18
Man
Man is the special creation of God, made in His own image. He created them male and female as the crowning work of His creation. In the beginning, man was innocent of sin and was endowed by his Creator with free will. By exercising that free will, man disobeyed God and, as a result, became separated from Him unto death. Now corrupted with a sin nature, man has no hope for reconciliation apart from Jesus Christ.
— Genesis 1:26-28, 2:16-17, 3:1-24; Romans 3:10-12, 23, 5:8, 6:23; Acts 4:12
Plan of Salvation
Salvation is the gift of God’s grace. It cannot be gained or secured by meritorious works. It is freely given to all who accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. All who trust the Savior are forgiven of their sins and are born into the family of God by the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by self-effort of the believer. It is this grace and keeping power of God that provides the eternal security of the Christian. Salvation includes regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification.
— John 1:12, 29, 10:28-29, 17:17; Acts 16:30-31; Romans 5:1, 6:23, 10:9-10, 13; 1 Corinthians 1:30; 2 Corinthians 5:17-20; Ephesians 1:7, 13, 2:8-9; Colossians 1:13-14; 2 Timothy 1:12; Titus 3:5-7; 1 Peter 1:3-5
Family
God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in a covenant commitment for a lifetime. It is God’s unique gift to reveal the union between Christ and His Church and to provide for the man and the woman in marriage the framework for intimate companionship, the channel of sexual expression according to biblical standards, and the means for procreation of humanity. Children, from the moment of conception, are a blessing and heritage from the Lord. Parents are to teach their children spiritual and moral values and to lead them, by example and loving discipline, to make choices based on biblical truth. Children are to honor and obey their parents.

Christian’s Responsibility to Others
Christians are to live a Spirit-filled life and share the Gospel with people regardless of color, race, or current lifestyle. Christians are to love and serve one another as Christ modeled servanthood and edify the church using their spiritual gifts. Christians are to demonstrate their love for God and others through acts of service.
